When I started earning a living as a cartoonist, many magazines published cute and clever cartoons about children. (Good Housekeeping, Better Homes & Gardens, Ladies Home Journal, National Enquirer, to name a few.) There are fewer major magazines publishing cartoons now, but kid cartoons are still extremely popular. Funny kid cartoons are something every parent can relate to.
