Q: How do I buy a cartoon?
A: Browse my website to find cartoons for your publication, presentation or other project. Then send me an e-mail telling me how you plan to use the cartoons. I will personally send you a speedy rate quote based on your intended usage.

Q: How do I identify the cartoons I want to use?
A: Every cartoon on my website has an ID name/number, such as “edu32″ or “fam8″. If you prefer, you can e-mail me a copy of the cartoons you want or use the captions to identify your choices.

Q: How much do they cost?
A: Because everyone has different needs, I don’t offer “one size fits all” pricing. I will personally customize a rate quote just for you, based on the type of usage you have in  mind. Because I don’t have predetermined prices, I’m usually able to offer rates that are lower than those offered by similar cartoon services.

Q: What do I receive?
A: When you order a cartoon, you will receive a JPEG, TIFF or GIF image by e-mail. I will send whichever image type best fits your particular needs for print or electronic usage. You will also receive a statement of permission for your requested usage and a detailed receipt for your records.

Q: How do I pay?
A: When I send your rate quote, I will direct you to my online order form with several payment options including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, check, money order, electronic bank transfer or fax.

Q: How long does it take to receive my cartoons?
A: Shortly after your order is received, you will receive an acknowledgement by e-mail followed by delivery of your cartoon, permission and receipt. Often, the whole process can be completed within minutes.

Q: Do you offer non-profit discounts?
A: I try to be flexible and offer everyone the best deal possible, whether you’re a small non-profit group or a large international corporation. The best way to receive a discount is to order several cartoons at the same time.

Q: After I buy a cartoon, do I own the copyright?
A:  You won’t own the cartoon or the copyright. You will be paying a permission fee to use the cartoon for a specific purpose that you’ve requested. I retain the copyright to the work, but will authorize you to legally use the cartoon for your newsletter, presentation or project.

Q: If I buy a cartoon for my newsletter, can I use it again in a presentation?
A: Cartoons may only be used one time, for one purpose, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in advance.

Q: Can I translate your cartoons into another language?
A: Yes, that can arranged with permission. Be sure to ask me about this in your e-mail.

Q: Can I order a cartoon in color?
A: All of my cartoons are available in both black and white and color versions, whichever you prefer.

Q: Can I buy a different cartoon every day for my website?
A: Yes! I can send you 365 cartoons for your web site, intranet or blog.
