On May 20, 2010 I was honored with a Wall of Fame plaque from my Alma Mater, Sherburne-Earlville Central School in Sherburne, New  York. The plaque will be on permanent display in the high school building along with past and future recipients. I also received a framed certificate to bring home and hang in my studio. I’ve never received any type of award before (not even a bowling trophy) but one from my school is especially nice considering all the grief I caused those people 35 years ago!

Here’s another Wall of Fame, sent to me by one of my readers. I was very happy to receive this photo of her cubicle. There is no greater achievement for any cartoonist than getting tacked up on a bulletin board or taped to a refrigerator door! It’s the ultimate compliment!

As long as I’m talking about walls,  here’s a photo of a huge mural painted by a student for her high school computer lab. The painting was based on one of my cartoons and copied with permission. You can tell from the style of the computer that it’s an older cartoon, but I think Melisa did a great job!
